March2024 Litter Captain and Calypso
We will be following Callie thru her pregnancy and the puppies thru there go home dates. Checking in on how the house adapts to everything.

Captain our 5-year-old Male and Calypso (Callie) Our 4-year-old Female have successfully tied 3 times, and we are expecting puppies around March 10th, 2024. This will be Calypso's last litter as she has already produced 5 lovely litters. We have work closely with our Vet on breeding standards and making sure our dogs rebound fully after each litter. Even though she thinks she needs to keep going, we respect Calypso and her body we have determined to retire her from breeding. We will be posting updates to the blog to document the different steps we take with her and the puppies. Please check back often.

Callie is thru her morning sickness and being picky about eating. She is now just starting to show signs now that her appetite is back. She also has gotten into the SUPER CLINGY MODE! All Dals don't know what personal space is but this is worse than usually. We are only weeks away from getting XRAYS and already signed 1 contract.

Today was XRAY Day. Have fun trying to count the puppies in here. The Vet says 4-6 but I count 7 or 8. I am guessing 7 will be the number. How about you?

Temp has been up and down, so we took a trip to the vets to see where we stand. Couple more days to go they think. The wait is on.
